Join Makers House for their inaugural summer showcase at Milliken. We will be launching our three-day exhibition and workshops programme with a panel discussion and workshop featuring a host of talented designers.
We will be asking our panellists to discuss their approach to colour in their work, delving into how they make their colours unique and the methods they use to build their own colour stories. We will also be discussing the current buzz word 'sustainability', we want to look at the human side of a sustainable brand and find out from our designers what the word that's on everyone's lips means to them and their practice.
This will be a round table discussion and we encourage you to arrive with your own colour stories to share during the evening. There will be a chance to meet the designers after the talk has ended and to find out more about their work. For more information about the exhibition and the work we will be showing please head to the Makers House website; www.makershouse.co.uk
The ticket price includes refreshments and a chance to experiment with anodised aluminium and make something to take home at the end of the evening. The panel discussion will start at 7pm, we expect the talk and questions to last about an hour followed by some time to chat to the designers and make some new connections.
